I love that you’re serializing your memoir! I plan to do that, too! One question: what do you mean that you’re signing a contract? With whom? Is the book already written, and you’re serializing the bits that already exist? Thanks for the clarification. So happy for you! Can’t wait to read!
WOW! Sounds thrilling! Can you explain for some readers what it means to put together your own imprint with a hybrid publisher? I'm a memoir coach and work with several hybrid publishers, and I love that hybrid publishing is getting its moment in the spotlight lately. Yes, there are some bad actors out there (like anywhere else), but all of my clients who've used the hybrid publishers I've recommended have been very happy :)
Putting together your own imprint sounds amazing. I'd love to hear what that looks like for you (and I'm sure others would, too)!
Yay you, creative and courageous. I admire you
You're my role model, Joyce 😘
Two weeks! How exciting!!!!!

Hey Christine,
I'm signing a contract to put together my own imprint with a hybrid publisher.
The book is mostly written, I've been editing and finalizing each chapter as I go. Putting it out on Substack in this manner has helped a lot.

Unfortunately, I haven't done it yet, so I can't really give any details. It will be a learning process for me :)
