As you may know, I am in the process of phasing out of my work in documentary film so I can concentrate on writing and finishing my second memoir, A Storyboard Life which tells behind-the-scenes tales of how that unlikely career in documentary film came about.
Kristen, a big YES to this: "ways that feel both honest and interesting to me, as well as perhaps a bit playful, mysterious, intriguing and maybe even inspirational." You are all of that and more and I am grateful to be among your what, readers? No, maybe devotees? See how we want to get the just right word? I love what you, write, how you write, why you write and you're at the top of my list, along with a few special others, who speak to me as if we were sitting in the same room. That's success in my book.
There's two kinds of success. Writing well, and publishing. I find the pleasure for each is quite different.
Always fun to read and I love the link to the interview
Thanks, Dante ~ it was wonderful to see you and Jeanne today!

I wish we were in the same room ~
thank you so very much for writing these lovely words to me, Gary! ❤️
We are in the same room, albeit virtual, and perhaps. some day soon, we might consider a brief Zoom meeting.
I'd like that Gary, let's set that up!
Sorry, I know it is Kristin not Kristen. That's someone else! I get it.
