Morning journal, 7 March 2020 – Panicked emails from Stephen, who’d flown from DC to Los Angeles, only to be told his 8-9 days paid production gig was cancelled.
I get the pandemic story but I’m struck this morning about the importance of the written word. You journal, you return to a time and review thoughts/action with renewed perception. If everyone would take the time to “leave tracks” how fortunate the world would be. What a treasure when captured-thoughts are discovered by others, particularly family/friends. A big topic but I’ll leave it at that. ☺️ Thank you.
Thank you so much, Lois. Your message has helped to salvage a bad news day.
To respond to your comment, I think if I had not had the practice of morning journaling for the past 30 years, I would not have been able to write this book. I have learned that I remember events and moments through certain points or highlights. But re-reading my journal pages opens up fresh memories that I'd perhaps forgotten. And reading these entries from my vantage point in the future, brings a different insight or perspective because I now know how the story, at least those stories, end.
Thanks again for reading, I always love hearing from you.
The pandemic seems like so long ago now. It's interesting to read your journal entries from when we didn't really know what was going on.

Thanks Rose! I'm saving up money now to publish it myself. Each day I'm one step closer!
