Aww, my sweet friend ~ I'd love it if we lived closer to one another!
"To make sense of the tiny fragments available with which to figure it all out and end up knowing it cant be done" – this is so very true and well articulated! But we do what we can do, right?!
Peace, love and light to you, too, my friend! Thank you for everything ❤️
"Somehow, I pulled it off. I didn’t give myself time to think or get nervous. I just wanted to do a good job. And actually, not just a good job, I wanted to excel." It is all in your somehow DNA. Your desire was on fire and you didn't just pull it off. You imagined that it could happen and then you created what you imagined. At least that's how I think it works when we "pull something off" meaning that we meet or exceed the expectations. There is also some not so hidden talent, skill and determination that helped propel you toward your goal and kept you on track in spite of the enormous challenges of time and putting all the pieces together. Well done, my friend!
Thank you, my friend! I love your line "You imagined that it could happen and then you created what you imagined" – that would be a great subtitle for this entire book! ☺️
Yes, something akin to “From Imagination to Creation” It’s quite the journey, as you know well. I have had the good fortune to have “pulled off” a couple of creations from nothing but a dream. Xena Jacques said one day, “Nothing ever was before it was a dream.” I kept that in mind in the process of starting with nothing but a blank page, not even any funding which was part of the challenge.
Thanks, thinking about framing a couple of them. One, where I was one of the founders, is celebrating 30 years of success. Not always easy but so worthwhile.
No, I don't think so. I was just happy he did. I continued to work for WNET as a freelancer on projects including Bill Moyers' specials, so it really was a lucky and wonderful break to have been asked to work on that film.
I am overwhelmed. Tears. Read your story, watched the film. My own struggles with human
life and my own beliefs in religion and spirituality. To weave, to paint, to sing, write poetry,
visit the temples and churches and museums, raise the children, bury the dead, try to make
sense of the tiny fragments available with which to figure it all out and end up knowing it cant be done.
I identify with so much of your very full life. We both ended up cultivating our own gardens,
wish we'd ended up closer and feel privileged to have had the small part we've shared.
Peace, love and light, sent reverently, Joyce

Holy Cow, lol! What a project. I'm looking forward to hearing about what came next.
Thanks, Leslie ~ stay tuned! More surprises coming soon ☺️

That sounds so intriguing, Gary ~ have you shared any of those stories with us yet?

I can't wait to hear more!
Did you ever ask Bill why he chose you??
No, I don't think so. I was just happy he did. I continued to work for WNET as a freelancer on projects including Bill Moyers' specials, so it really was a lucky and wonderful break to have been asked to work on that film.
