Kristin, as always, a very interesting and absorbing read. I love listening to the English. They literally and figuratively own our language. They speak it as it is meant to be spoken. Perfect diction. He sounds like he had a great presence and air about him. Thanks for sharing. - Jim
Thanks Jim, I appreciate hearing your thoughts. I'm currently reading the memoir he wrote based upon the letters he received from his mother during WWII, during which he was sent away to Canada for safe keeping. It's a completely fascinating read about WWII days from an interesting and unusual source. And reading it brings back how it felt to be in JJN's presence, even if just for a few hours on one lucky afternoon.
Lucky indeed! Delightful, both the story and JJ.
Thanks, Gary 💕
Hah! Fabulous!
This reads like good fiction. BTW this is a compliment
Thank you, Richard!
And coming from you, I took it as a high compliment indeed, especially as I don't (know how to) write fiction ☺️
Just change people's names. Voila! Fiction!
Why didn't I think of that?! 😆
